Frequently asked questions
Your first appointment begins with a detailed conversation about your health history, symptoms, lifestyle, and goals. We will then complete a physical assessment and create a tailored treatment plan. This will include manual therapy, movement strategies, exercise prescription or load management — depending on your necessities.
Initial consultations are 75 minutes. Follow-up sessions are generally 60 minutes, though the duration can be adjusted to suit your needs.
Pricing varies depending on the service and duration. Please refer to the booking page for full details, or contact me directly — I will be happy to guide you through the options.
No referral is required. You can book directly as a private patient or under programs such as NDIS or WorkCover.
Yes. If your extras cover includes Physiotherapy, you may be eligible for a rebate. HICAPS claiming is available. Invoices will be provided.
I don’t offer bulk billing. However, if you have a valid referral from your GP (such as an EPC/Chronic Disease Management Plan), you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate.
Yes, I work with both self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants. I can also provide reports and tailored treatment plans to meet your goals.
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows for movement. If we need to assess or treat a specific area (e.g. knee or shoulder), please wear something that allows access to that region.
Yes, KAIA Physiotherapy provides mobile physiotherapy in the comfort of your home. Please enquire for service areas and availability. Please, contact me to organise them, not online booking availability.

I kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. This allows the opportunity to offer your spot to someone else. Late cancellations may incur a fee.
